23 Year old Black Metal Artist Tom Gekas is a new face in the landscape of Black Metal.
He lives in a small German town near Düsseldorf and focuses Heavily on Dark, Brutal and Atmospheric Sounds inspirated by bands like Mgła, Behemoth and Gorgoroth. The early suicide of his father was a keyelememt for Tom to start Music. Before the death of his father, he wasn't Musical at all, so he picked up the guitar that his father left behind and starts to practice. 3 years later, in 2019, he started to make his own Songs.
His Music started as a DSBM Project like you can hear on Evig Mørke and Deus Moritur. But Tom realized soon that he wanted to experiment and don't get stuck in one specific genere of Black Metal and so he started to create his own style over time. As in 2020, his music is a bit more mature than before. Now he wants to say something more deep than "Hail Satan" like he used to. Tom Gekas has a lot of Albums, EPs and singles, but he has no plans to stop in the future and will carry on to bring Chaos, Catharsis, Grief and Beauty to your ears.
