Trollwar - Tales from the frozen Wastes (DigiCD)

Trollwar’s new EP marks a renewal of the band’s sound, moving toward a more melodic, symphonic, and progressive direction while still drawing on black and folk influences. It delivers a dark, immersive journey with four tracks centered on themes of the underworld, fallen deities, and cursed adventurers. The tracklist was chosen for its natural progression and emotional flow. Older compositions like The Unseen One and In the Fields of Frost blend with newer ones such as Bane of the Underworld and The Offering, which showcase the band’s evolved songwriting and musical maturity. The EP is described as the band’s most complete and complex release to date, with promises of more EPs and possibly a full album in the future.
