Pagan Metal (GER)

The Band Tarabas come from Magdeburg (Germany) and was founded by Bassist Steve Kuhnert and Guitarist and Vocalist (Screams) Alexander "Kutte" May. The name "Tarabas" is from a magician from a Fantasy Movie. Soon after the first songs were written the musical direction could partly be cognized. Death Metal elements were enriched with melodies and clean guitarparts. This led to miscellaneous Melodic Death Metal. But if you look on the lyrics and hear the melodies you'll recognize the martial and ancient soul of many songs, because the lyrics are often about battles, brotherhood, faith and honour. But to keep the variations, some lyrics have other themes.
