Scared To Death is a Thrash Metal band hailing from Teisnach (Bavaria), which resurrects the golden 80ies of the genres since 2006. The outfit celebrates dynamic melodic Thrash in a three-piece line-up. Fast paced parts as well as mid-tempo elements meet raw vocals with recognition value. Highspeed guitars and driving drums put across the character and spirit of the old “new” times. Having grown up with bands like Exodus, Slayer, Metallica and Overkill – this was the music, which won the hearts of the three young musicians. In the freezing January of 2006 they decided to form a Thrash band in order to follow their mutual passion. The debut album „Deathstruction“ was released in August 2008 by STF Records. By the end of 2008 Scared To Death managed to convince as the European tour support of Destruction, which gave the band gigs in 13 countries over the course of four weeks. Until 2012 the band performed on several prestigious festivals in Germany and Austria sharing the stage with numerous greats of the scene. Now the new album „Fatal Destroyer“ will be released March 28 2014 by Medusa Records and more shows and festivals performances are in the planning stages ! #### REVIEWS: „These guys are deeply rooted in 80ies Black Thrash, just as their compatriots Fatal Embrace or Witchburner. There is lots of stuff in the vein of Exodus/Slayer/Overkill with the occasional nod to Power Metal." (Arno Bretträger,www.totentanz-magazin.de ) #### „And this really appeals indeed, as SCARED TO DEATH have some cool hits up their sleeve.“ (Markus Seibel,www.legacy666.de ) #### "Here Scared To Death can score with their own twist on things and interesting songs. The cover reminds of new survival horror games such as "Dead Space" and is a metallic eye catcher ! This band is better than many of the hyped combos from abroad, which are signed to bigger labels." 11/15 points (Thorsten Dietrich,www.myrevelations.de) #### „This is hard hitting Thrash as it is meant to be.“ 8/10 points (Jochen Strubel,www.ffm-rock.de ) #### "Consistently grooving Thrash without any questions. Listening pleasure guaranteed.“ 7,5/10 points (Simone Nitsche, www.metal-district.de ) #### "Five years after their debut the Southern Germans come along with their second long player. The guys have fine-tuned their approach, which was already good back then. On "Fatal Destroyer" they offer a well-balanced mixture of Power Metal and Thrash with lots of live potential."
