The album is composed of storied songs inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s poem, “Legendarium”.
"The vocals of fronter Haedus move back and forth between moderate growls and melody as well as partly blackened aggressiveness and at times with a lot of theatricality and pathos presented clean heroics, to a certain extent between Johann Hegg and Hansi Kürsch... The new tracks, whose basis is power metal with creates a lot of speed and thunderstorms of double bass, also show stylistic devices and influences from symphonic, epic and folk metal. In addition to great melodies and sometimes catchy refrains, they offer lush keyboards and orchestrations as well as piano and organ sounds, but also hard, melodic and unusual riffing.. ."
