...the opener “Zerfall” then offers relatively aggressive sounds paired with very catchy guitar sounds. The sound is clearly recorded and leaves nothing to be desired. Vocally you get well understandable screams. Personally, I like STERBENSWILLE's interpretation of Post Black Metal very much, because the music sounds modern, but the main focus is still on Black Metal influences. You get more quiet parts in “Nocturnal Thoughts”, whereby you offer enough variety here and so a monotonous sound never develops. An absolute highlight is the post black metal ballad “Unheeded”. The Black Metal flair is pushed into the background here, but the title has catchy character, as the melodies immediately catch your ear and the number can captivate and carry away the listener immediately...
